Ceiliúradh an Earraigh (Celebration of Spring) Line up announced
The long awaited line up for Ceiliúradh an Earraigh was announced last week. With names like Sean Keane, Matt Molloy, John Carty and Carmel Gunning it is gauranteed to be entertaining.
The four day festival is set to take place from Thursday the 1st May to Sunday the 4th of May 2008 with concerts each night been held in Ceoláras Coleman, Gurteen, Co. Sligo.
Thursday, May 1
9p.m. Launch of ‘The Maid of Sweet Gurteen’, an anthology of local songs and recitations, compiled for the Michael Coleman Heritage Centre by Carmel Gunning.
Friday, May 2
9p.m. Duets Concert - a host of local Musician display their skills play duets.
Saturday, May 3
Lectures exploring the musical legend of South Sligo
9.p.m. Concert featuring Matt Molloy and John Carty (flute and fiddle)
This is the first time that Matt Molloy will play the Coleman Music Center and promises to be a great night.
Sunday, May 4
9p.m. Sean Keane in concert. Sean is back to play another concert. He has played to a capacity crowd in the Coleman Music centre many times before and we look forward to another great performance from him.
