Originally known as Knockmore, this was a Carmelite friary founded by the O'Garas about 1350. As late as 1744 it was reported to have three friars. It was traditionally the burial place of the O'Gara family. The present graveyard contains the ruins of a medieval church.

| From Ceolaras Coleman, turn right and go 4.2 km (2.5 miles) along the R294. Just before you get to the Coleman Heritage Centre you take the left turn (signposted). Go 0.6 km (0.4 miles) to a left turn, and follow signs.
